DANIEL KOCH is a managing partner at Koch Capital, focusing on providing services to high-net-worth individuals and managing their investments at the partner and private equity firm Broadstreet Inc. In this capacity, he draws upon more than 20 years of experience in New York City commercial real estate as a special advisor.
In 2021, Daniel established Koch Commercial at EXP Realty, a nationwide firm focused on healthcare, which has completed over $162 million in sales and leases since its inception. He has also held positions at Maps Financial, Douglas Elliman, and Compass, and was the owner of Dual Groupe Hospitality. His career includes extensive work in brokerage, hotel operations, and land development projects.
Daniel studied communications at West Liberty University, business at The Ohio State University, and arts and sciences at New York University. In his leisure time, he enjoys endurance sports, traveling, and writing screenplays. He lives in Tuxedo Park, Atlanta, with his wife and daughter.
Derek Koch, Managing Partner
DEREK KOCH is a managing partner at Koch Capital, specializing in land acquisition, new business development, and managing his clients' private equity funds. He began his career by building hospitality businesses in New York City and later emerged as a top-producing broker at Douglas Elliman, where he and the award-winning Ariel Cohen team facilitated over $500 million in transactions from 2015 to 2018. His commitment to excellence earned him a feature in the New York Times as well as the "Deal of the Year" award from the Real Estate Board of New York.
Currently based in Seattle with Developer Polaris Pacific, Derek leads sales and marketing efforts for Spire, the city's top-selling luxury condominium tower, where his sales have surpassed $300 million since its launch in 2021.
Derek studied communications at West Liberty University, business at The Ohio State University, and arts and sciences at New York University. He resides in Seattle’s University District with his wife and three children, where he enjoys the local culture and stays active as an avid runner and Ironman triathlete.
